The next two weeks I’d like to focus on the articles created by the personal finance blogs in the Yakezie Group. There are currently 41 blogs in the group and it’s growing! There are way too many posts to read in one sitting so I’ve started with the first half of the group and continue with the second half in next weeks round-up. Enjoy, there’s lot of good reads out there!

  • Bible Money Matters asks What documentation do I need to claim the first time home buyer tax credit?
  • Financial Samurai touches on a subject close to my heart with The curse of making too much money and not pursuing your dreams.
  • PT Money shows how handy and savvy he is with Installing hardwood flooring yourself to save money.
  • Budgets are Sexy appeals to the sloth in us all and asks Would you pay for extra sleep?
  • Free From Broke asks readers Who Should I Pick To Do My Taxes?
  • Eliminate the Muda shares an interesting video and discusses America saves week.
  • Canadian Finance Blog gives advice on Spending money wisely.
  • Fiscal Geek gets in the Olympic spirit with How to budget like an Olympian.
  • 20s Money gets an An offer to buy his blog.
  • Credit Card Chaser asks Are credit card companies profiting from tragedy?
  • Suburban Dollar eloquently reminds us When opportunity knocks, open the damn door!
  • Fiscal Fizzle teaches How to live with bad credit.
  • Sweating the Big Stuff explains What the credit card act means for you.
  • Monevator interestingly inquires Why does Joe public love sweatshops?
  • MBA Briefs wonders How long are you going to live?

Special thanks to
Engineer Your Finances, We Blog Better, and Life Plan Web for actively contributing feedback to the site.

What a great idea! Would you mind if I did something similar, but started with the bottom of the group? That way more of the blogs would get the benefit too? Let me know.

P.S. Are you hearing the Tsunami sirens? That must be pretty scary. Stay well, high and dry!
