This section of Planting Dollars will document my own journey in attempting to lead a mobile lifestyle and will also discuss the idea of mobile living (extended travel at least 2 years) from the financial perspective.
Some of the future things we’ll tackle and discuss will include:
- Where are the best value countries to go?
- How do I negotiate in foreign countries?
- How do I do my banking internationally?
- How do I do my taxes while in another country?
- How can I manage my real estate investments while on the road?
And a plethora of other questions that I’m sure will pop up along the way.
I’ll also be interviewing other digital nomads and mobile living experts to gain their tips and experiences.

Hello Ryan, I came here after I listened to Lisa’s video of your site. In the video she did mention that this tab was empty. I wanted to put my word in about being mobile.
I’ve arrived and am not sure that what I’m doing is what you had in mind. But what I encounter while living a mobile lifestyle is what I write about.
It was fun to hear about you and what your doing here, I love the clean look you’ve created on this site. I’ll be spending time here reading more. Thanks
