The thing is you can always spend more money on a business!

Offline business is still going strong, with several employees. I would hasten to add we had the funding for equipment but didn’t commit to buying anything until it was obvious it was a need rather than be swayed by gimmicky products that just sound good! It also allowed us to grow in a different direction than we originally planned, and build our business on a stronger foundation.

Right now I am not very involved in our offline business, and my husband works on it part-time while we are carving out our “online real-estate”. Because we are planning an international move and we plan on having multiple income streams.

I think that “debt not going anywhere” depends on who you talk to… there are those who make it their mission to eliminate all debt within a year or two (not including mortgage if they have one) so I suppose I was assuming that in this article.

Virtual estate is something I think almost every person should at least try out because there really isn’t much of a downside.

Interesting take, and I think you’re probably right… maybe the government should shrink their budget and use this same approach

I think the business has a lot greater chance of success when it’s literally everything you have and you have to make it work instead of throwing money at the problem.

Very broad indeed, I suppose this is a general question to anyone considering entrepreneurship (aspiring might be a better word choice than wannabe), what their options are and how they should look at the debt obstacle before opening the doors.

Do agree with the point of using debt as a scapegoat and putting off things you should be doing today.
